No Games Chicago gets a little love in the article in a 2020 issues of Leisure Studies, “Event Bidding and New Media Activism” by David McGillivray, John Lauermann, and Daniel Turner. Tom spoke to John some time ago and asked him (as a scholar of sport, economics, and policy) to include No Games Chicago in the academic record.
