This is truly an extraordinary example of how grassroots based organizing, education, and rational clear thinking can defeat the powerful corporate interests of the Democratic Corporate Machine. The bid failed most probable because City Hall and its Big Winner Take all mentality could not build grassroots support. They did try though, after NO GAMES entered the picture.
